Background:
I used my education degree in a variety of age groups from birth-3rd grade and in a variety of settings from operating out of my own home to teaching at a religious and public elementary school, teaching at a private pre school, and teaching special education. In addition to teaching, I started a concept restaurant with a learning and play space for kids 0-6, worked for Givaudan as sensory panelist, and stayed at home with my children.
Hobbies:
My kids Max, 14 and Natalie 12, attend Villa Madonna Academy. My husband Alex, does Philanthropy work for a local family. I enjoy skating, roller blading, cooking, traveling, eating out at new restaurants, and animals!
Infant Cribs
Nap Time
I Follow Safe Sleep Best Practice in compliance with Kentucky State Law. Non-rolling infants are placed on their back to sleep in an approved sleep sack. No toys, mobiles, blankets, stuffies, or bumpers are used.
Preschool Cots
All children are required to nap or rest.
99% of the time, “non nappers” fall asleep at childcare due to our busy day.
Infants have their own nap schedule.
Children bring their own pillows, blankets, and stuffy.

Philosophy
Children benefit from natural play opportunities to learn about the world around them. Through play, children learn manners, respect, how to share, and conversation skills. From my experience in an elementary classroom, I understand that Kindergarten readiness skills are equally important. Children in my care have endless opportunities to experience and explore art, music, movement , math, science, language arts and dramatic play!
Children learn by doing. This means that children in my care learn to be responsible for themselves. They will learn how to put on socks and shoes, get dressed, put on and take off jackets and be expected to clean up their mess (responsibility).

If you won’t wear your jacket, you will carry it so you can put it on when you get cold. Extreme behaviors will be dealt with on a case by case bases, but ultimately, will not be tolerated and may be sent home if necessary.
